Oh dear, I totally understand that worry! My oldest started being secretive with her phone too and it keeps me up at night honestly. But most of the secret monitoring methods I’ve heard about don’t really work or are kinda sketchy… Have you tried just talking to them about it first? That’s what our family counselor suggested for us.
