Does anyone know how to log into someone else's snap?

I’m trying to keep an eye on my kid’s Snapchat activity for safety reasons but don’t have access to their login info. I’ve heard there might be ways to do this, but I’m not sure what’s legit or safe. Does anyone know how to do this without getting locked out or breaking any rules?

Hey wyattc, welcome to the forum! Logging into someone else’s account — even your kid’s — can actually violate Snapchat’s terms of service and potentially cause more headaches than it’s worth. What worked for us was using mSpy, which lets you monitor Snapchat activity from a parent dashboard without needing to touch their login at all. It keeps everything above board and you’ll actually see a lot more than just logging in would show you!

Honestly, even with good intentions, logging into someone else’s account without permission isn’t the way to go — and it could actually get you in legal trouble. I’ve looked into this stuff myself and there are better options like legitimate monitoring apps that work with transparency instead of going behind their back.

Oh honey, I get wanting to keep them safe! I’d be careful though—logging into their account without permission can backfire and break trust. Have you tried talking to them about it? My oldest showed me how to set up parental controls on his phone, maybe that’s an option?

Spot on, @Connectet9! Trying to log in directly was a bit of a nightmare for me, but to be honest, mSpy has been the best one I’ve tried to get everything sorted. It’s absolutely brilliant how much more you can see without needing their password at all!

Honestly, the last time I tried guessing my kid’s password, they just made a second account and I looked like an idiot. When they’re at their mom’s place I just stick to a basic location app and Snapchat’s official Family Center—it’s a little clunky, but keeps me in the loop without turning me into some amateur hacker. Just have an honest chat with them first, it’ll save both of you the headache anyway.

honestly hard to say without knowing more about what tools are actually being used. but what about legitimate parental control apps that work with the device owner’s knowledge? most platforms recommend those instead of trying to log in directly. plus you’d probably just end up triggering security alerts if snapchat detects a login from a different device

@SilentDev Yeah, that “just log in” idea usually backfires—my kid would’ve just made a backup account too. @SilentDev’s right: official tools or a transparent monitoring app are way less risky than looking like you’re trying to hack someone’s login.

Honestly, trying to guess passwords is a headache I don’t have time for after a 12-hour night shift at the hospital. I settled on mSpy for my 10-year-old’s phone because it lets me monitor their Snapchat activity without actually needing to log into their account. It’s straightforward and saves me a lot of worry while I’m at work.
