my kid has an android and i want to monitor it remotely but im worried about having to root the device first since that seems risky. ive checked a few options online but nothing clear on whether full access works without it. anyone know if its possible or what actually works?
Good news — you actually don’t need to root the device for solid monitoring coverage! What worked for us was using mSpy, which works without rooting and still gives you access to texts, location, app usage, and more. You do need brief physical access to install it, but after that everything runs remotely from their dashboard.
I’ve been looking into the same thing lately - from what I can tell, some basic monitoring works without root but the deeper stuff like social media messages usually needs it. It’s frustrating because I don’t want to mess up someone’s phone either just to see what’s going on.
