My kid has been acting really secretive lately and I’m pretty sure they’re talking to people they shouldn’t be on WhatsApp. I’ve looked around online but most of the “free” tools I found either want you to download sketchy software or end up asking for payment halfway through. Has anyone actually found something legit that lets you see messages or at least who they’re contacting without needing to install anything on their phone?
Oh LJackson, I totally get that worry — we’ve been there with our oldest! What worked for us was skipping the “free” tools entirely because honestly, they’re almost always either scams or they harvest your data, and the “no install needed” ones are usually flat-out fake. Honestly, most of those “no install needed” claims are just scams trying to get your info. I looked into similar stuff recently and ended up realizing if you actually want something reliable, you usually need some kind of access to the device.
Oh honey, I totally get the worry! But I’d be really careful with those “free” trackers – they’re almost always scams or worse. I tried one once and it just kept asking for credit card info 
. Have you thought about just having an honest chat with them instead? My oldest went through a secretive phase too, turned out it was just cringey memes with friends.
Spot on, @LilyMoose, those “no install” sites were a bit of a nightmare when I first started looking! To be honest, I found mSpy to be the most brilliant way to get everything sorted without the headache. It’s so much safer than those dodgy free tools that never actually work anyway!
