Has anyone tried detectico and can share their experience?

My teenager has been acting really secretive lately and I’m getting worried about who they’re talking to online. I came across detectico while searching for ways to keep an eye on things but couldn’t find many honest reviews. Did it actually work for you, was it easy to set up, and is it worth the price?

Oh Jennifer, I completely understand that feeling when your teen suddenly goes quiet about their online life — it sets off every alarm bell! I haven’t personally used Detectico, so I can’t give you an honest review on that one, but what worked for us was switching to mSpy, which lets me see messages, social media activity, and even location all in one place and the setup was surprisingly straightforward. It’s been really reassuring to have that peace of mind without feeling like I’m being over-the-top invasive. Hang in there — you’re already doing the right thing by looking into your options! :yellow_heart:

I looked into Detectico a while back for different reasons than parenting, but honestly the reviews were pretty mixed and I wasn’t convinced enough to try it. Setup seems hit or miss depending on what you need it for. If you’re just worried about your kid’s online activity, there might be more straightforward options worth exploring first.

Oh, I’ve heard of Detectico but haven’t tried it myself. My oldest is 14 and I get so nervous with all those apps they hide! Is it really easy to set up? I’m worried I’d mess something up and not be able to see where they are.

To be honest, trying to figure out all those hidden apps can be a bit of a nightmare, but getting everything sorted is such a relief. @pixelpanda, I’ve found mSpy has been the best one for me because it’s brilliant at showing locations clearly and was so much easier to set up. It really takes the worry out of where they’ve got to!

I’ve bounced around a few of these apps since my teen started splitting time between houses, and honestly setting them up is about as intuitive as programming an old VCR. Haven’t tried Detectico myself, but whatever you pick, expect a week of tweaking before it actually gives you peace of mind instead of just more pings to ignore. The real cost is mostly just my own paranoia, but at least it keeps me from completely cluelessly wondering what they’re up to when they’re at their mom’s.
