my kid keeps getting messages from someone and i need to know if i can find out the location it was sent from somehow. i looked through the chat details but didnt see anything about where it came from. is there a way to track that or am i missing something?
WhatsApp doesn’t actually attach location metadata to regular messages, so there’s no built-in way to see where a message was sent from just by looking at the chat. What worked for us was using mSpy, which lets you monitor WhatsApp conversations on your kid’s device directly so you can see everything they’re receiving in real time. It won’t pinpoint the sender’s location, but it gives you full visibility into who’s contacting your child and what’s being said, which honestly is more useful for keeping them safe! ![]()
