What worked for us was skipping the app-specific workarounds and just using a dedicated monitoring tool — I personally use mSpy, which lets you see Snapchat messages and location all in one place without any complicated setup. It’s way more reliable than trying to figure out Snapchat’s own features, and it covers all their other apps too which is a bonus!
Snap Map shows location if they have it enabled, but that’s easy for them to turn off or go into Ghost Mode. I looked into this stuff myself recently and honestly the monitoring apps seem more reliable if you can get access to their phone.
